Memoir Writing with Christopher Locke August 8, 15, and 22 at BNML

Everyone has a lifetime of stories to tell! Find the best path to writing impactful memoirs and personal essays with award-winning memoirist Christopher Locke. This small, individualized class will meet once a week on Thursday, August 8,15, and 22 after the library closes at 4:00 for an hour and a half.
With Chris’ caring and guidance, you will have the opportunity to transform your ideas into powerfully constructed prose. Whether you’re looking to begin the journey of crafting your own memoir, or if you’re just curious about how to write the best personal essay possible, let Chris’ proven approach of compassionate listening, detailed guidance, and unyielding support bring your memories to the page. No prior writing experience is required. Bring yourself, a pencil, and your stories. Light
refreshments will be served.
Though the series is free and open to the 18+ year old public, sign up is necessary as limited enrollment allows close, supportive attention in this safe and encouraging environment. Please register before Saturday, August 3. One spot
has been claimed so don’t delay. Call the library at (518) 963-8079, or send an email to
