Essex Community Paper Quilt – click for info about related programs for adults and kids this summer.

Overview: (click to view a flyer for this program)
This summer, we will be creating a collaborative community paper quilt that highlights the unique architecture, history, and community spirit of our town and region. This will be an ongoing project, with opportunities for all ages to participate in different ways.

Residents and visitors will make quilt squares on pieces of paper during programs or visits to the library, and at the end of the summer the quilt will be assembled and displayed prominently
at the library.

Who can participate?
Everyone! There will be scheduled workshops and programs for different ages (see below), as well as walk-in activities and take-home kits and ideas. We welcome participation by both
residents and visitors.
