Resource sharing through the CEF Library System makes it possible for member libraries, including small libraries such as ours, to offer a wealth of information and opportunities. Here’s a quick look at language learning resources that are available with the magic of your library card.

Mango Languages is language-learning software that teaches practical conversation in over 70 languages. It offers the ability to download for learning in the car, progress tracking, and culture notes that enhance the learning experience. With Mango Reader, you can go to any website and get translations in real time. This feature is a Google Chrome extension currently available in 12 languages. The new Mango Vocabulary feature allows you to review chapter vocabulary with flashcards and lists, study words by topic, and even create your own personalized vocabulary lists so that you can study what’s most important for your language learning journey. introduced American Sign Language to the Mango Languages platform also!
Overdrive offers ebooks and eAudiobooks on language learning. Do you already know some French? Check out the French short stories for beginners!
